Enrollment Options

Middle School (grades 6-8):

Middle school is a day program only, no boarding is available for this age group.

High School (grades 9-12):

Day, 5-day & full-boarding options are available.

Our high school students are both domestic and international*.

* Scattergood Friends School is authorized to accept International Students under the U.S. Customs and Immigration SEVIS systems.

Admissions Events & Visits

The best way to get to know us is to come see us in action. There are a number of ways to explore campus and learn more about our school. Open house events are held several times each year and provide a high level overview of life at Scattergood. Individual tours are available upon request and provide a more tailored experience for families.

Visit days are strongly encouraged when school is in session. This provides families with a more immersive experience and may include sitting in on classes, joining crew, and sharing a meal. Individual tours and visit days can be combined with an admissions interview when appropriate.

Join Scattergood’s Head of School, John Zimmerman, for an informal info session about the school’s programs, history, vision, and more. Your wonderings will shape the conversation so we invite you bring your questions.

Open House

October 26, 10:15am-12:30pm (on campus)

Visitors are invited to have brunch in the dining hall, participate in a block printing workshop led by Scattergood students, tour campus, and have a Q&A with the Head of School and other members of staff. It’s sure to be a fun and informative event. We hope to see you there!

Get to Know Us

Schedule a tour and come experience Scattergood for yourself.

Apply

Submit your application and supporting materials.

Interview

Once we receive all of your application items, your file will be reviewed by the admissions team before students and parents are invited to interview.

Decision

The admissions team will notify families of the admissions decision and tuition offer by email within 10 business days.
