Harold is from New Mexico and was a student at Scattergood in the 90’s. He has enjoyed traveling, studying, living and working in a variety of places, both in the States and internationally. Highlights include: Working on an organic CSA farm in Illinois; leading rock climbing trips in Virginia; co-leading backpacking trips for Scattergood in Utah and Missouri; WWOOFing in New Zealand, working in a chocolate factory in York, England; working for Lloyds in London; tutoring special needs students in London, Oxfordshire and Berkshire; clearing hiking trails in the Gila Wilderness, New Mexico; and recently co-leading a kayak trip for Scattergood in Arkansas and Wisconsin.
Harold has been living and working at Scattergood since the summer of 2015. In 2017 he was married and now lives on campus with his wife and two of his three step-children. He is very happy to be living and working in a small community made up of wonderful people from all over the world.
