Bruce Whiteman is an award-winning Canadian poet and writer with extensive teaching experience at universities across North America. In Iowa, Bruce taught the Senior Poetry Seminar in Grinnell College’s English Department before coming to Scattergood to teach courses on poetry and classical music. Besides publishing dozens of books of poetry and cultural history, Bruce has several decades of experience as a librarian and rare books specialist at McGill University, McMaster University, and UCLA.
