10.) Scattergood issues your Form I-20 and sends it to you, along with original copies of your tuition contract and offer of admission, via FedEx International Priority (3 to 7 days delivery time)

11.) Pay your $200 I-901 SEVIS fee before you apply for your visa

12.) Review the steps to apply for your F-1 Student Visa provided by the US Department of State

13.) Complete the US Department of State's online application for a Non-Immigrant Visa: Form DS-160

14.) Schedule your visa interview at your local US Embassy or Consulate (wait time varies by country)

15.) Pay your $160 visa application fee (you may be required to pay in advance of your interview)

16.) Bring the entire FedEx package from Scattergood to your interview, as well as your original financial documentation, passport, and other documentation listed on the US Department of State website or in instructions you receive from the Embassy or Consulate

1.) Apply for admission to Scattergood Friends School by submitting all of the following:

-Online application
-Three teacher recommendations (enter their email addresses in the online application and they will receive an online form to complete)
-Two English writing samples 
-Official copies of your academic transcripts (grade reports)
-A copy of the ID page of your passport 
-Optional - TOEFL or iTEP results, if available.  Target scores: TOEFL 60+ / iTEP 3.5+
-$125 application fee

2.) (Optional) Apply for financial aid through TADS if you are unable to afford the full price of tuition ($35 fee, 10 days processing time)

3.) Interview with the Admissions Committee in person or by Skype

4.) Complete an essay in English in person or by Skype

5.) Await the Admissions Committee's decision

6.) Receive your official offer of admission, Tuition Contract , and Intent to Enroll Form (ITE) by email

7.) Sign and return your Tuition Contract and ITE by fax or email

8.) Submit your I-20 Request Form (p.6) to Scattergood by fax or email

9.) Submit copies of the Sponsor's Financial Affidavit (p. 8) and supporting financial documents to Scattergood by fax or email

10.) Scattergood issues your Form I-20 and sends it to you, along with original copies of your tuition contract and offer of admission, via FedEx International Priority (3 to 7 days delivery time)

11.) Pay your $200 I-901 SEVIS fee before you apply for your visa

12.) Review the steps to apply for your F-1 Student Visa provided by the US Department of State

13.) Complete the US Department of State's online application for a Non-Immigrant Visa: Form DS-160

14.) Schedule your visa interview at your local US Embassy or Consulate (wait time varies by country)

15.) Pay your $160 visa application fee (you may be required to pay in advance of your interview)

16.) Bring the entire FedEx package from Scattergood to your interview, as well as your original financial documentation, passport, and other documentation listed on the US Department of State website or in instructions you receive from the Embassy or Consulate

17.) Wait for your visa application to be accepted, then finalize your travel plans (airports nearest to Scattergood are CID and MLI)

18.) Email your travel itinerary to mainoffice@scattergood.org and to your US guardian.
